We work with the landscape as if it were our own

The potential of the Czech landscape is currently fulfilled only about halfway. We are working to change that. Our goal is a diverse and healthy landscape that is pleasant to live in.

Moravská Nová Ves and Support for Post-Tornado Recovery

Moravská Nová Ves and Support for Post-Tornado Recovery

Immediately after the devastating tornado struck, we launched the SOS Morava fundraising appeal, and dozens of our staff members went to the region to help clear the damage and repair destroyed homes and gardens. Even years later, we continue to stand by the people in the affected area. Today, we are helping them restore greenery and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

Meanders and Tree Alleys for a Heavily Farmed Landscape

Meanders and Tree Alleys for a Heavily Farmed Landscape

Němčice near Kolín is part of the LIFE WILL – Water in Landscape and Soil project. Efforts are focused on caring for a region that is both heavily used for agriculture and highly threatened by drought. Local residents have been involved in decision-making from the very beginning, helping to shape what will happen to the landscape of their home in the future. The main priorities have been the re-meandering of watercourses and the creation of tree avenues along the roads. Many of these measures are now in the process of being implemented.
